Sebastian Backman

Instructor since 2021.

Sebastian completed his secondary education as an aircraft mechanic, continued with further training as an aircraft technician (helicopter) in Linköping and eventually got a job at Jämtlandsflyg. After two years, he began to long to return to Norrbotten. He applied for and got a job at Westhelicopter, which was later bought by Kallax Flyg. He worked here for just over six years before starting as an instructor with us in May 2021.

Most of his free time is spent with his family and carpentry on the house in Gammelstad where he lives with his wife and two children. When he has time, he enjoys spending time with his friends.

"It feels fun to come back here where I once went to high school. I get to be with the students from the ground up and have the opportunity to teach what I myself have learned in the civil organizations."
