Do you still need to complete some examinations to qualify as a B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer?<\/strong><\/span>
We offer the opportunity to complete your EASA Part-66 module examinations \u2014 in English!<\/span><\/p>

To work as an aircraft maintenance engineer, you must hold an\u00a0EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML)<\/strong>. This licence gives you the authority to sign the\u00a0Certificate of Release to Service (CRS)<\/strong>, which is required to ensure aircraft airworthiness.<\/span><\/p>

To apply for an AML, you must:<\/span><\/p>

  • Pass the examinations for your chosen licence category.<\/span><\/li>
  • Record your practical experience in an approved logbook<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Most EASA examinations consist of\u00a0Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)<\/strong>. The number of questions varies depending on the module, and the\u00a0pass mark is 75%<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

    After successfully passing a Part-66 module examination, you will receive a\u00a0Certificate of Recognition (COR)<\/strong>, which is valid for\u00a010 years<\/strong>. Once you obtain your AML, it remains\u00a0valid for life<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

    If you have completed any module examinations at another training organisation, we kindly ask you to inform us\u00a0when and where<\/strong>\u00a0these were taken, so we can verify them.<\/span><\/p>
