We train flight engineers with a focus on helicopters and conduct courses and training on behalf of civil airlines and the Swedish Armed Forces. The training for flight engineers is both theoretical and practical and is scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A total of 14 courses are included in the training and you take four to five courses in parallel. <\/span><\/p>

The theory and practice split is 50\/50, with the theoretical parts being taught in the classroom while the practical parts are done outside in the hangar with access to several aircraft and lots of extra parts. Here you work independently according to manuals and work orders just like in a real aircraft workshop, but always have access to instructors who help and check that the tasks are done correctly. The training also includes an internship at one of the companies we collaborate with.<\/span><\/p>

After two years of study, you are ready to enter the workforce. After another two years in a workplace, you have the opportunity to obtain a certificate as an aviation engineer. You will always have a salary during these two years that you work. Thanks to collaborations with various airlines throughout the country and a wide network of contacts within the industry, we can often help you find a job after your education. <\/span><\/p>

As a student, you have the opportunity to receive student funding through CSN. You can get to school using Lule\u00e5 local transport, which has special student prices.<\/p>

Lulebo AB<\/strong> is the housing company of all Lule\u00e5 residents. Lulebo is for everyone; regardless of origin, age or income, and we work to provide good housing in most parts of Lule\u00e5, where citizens want to live. Lulebo currently has about 7,400 rental apartments, of which just over 1,000 are student housing, among other things. Lulebo's housing is available in most parts of Lule\u00e5. <\/em><\/p>
