There is a high demand for aviation engineers both in Sweden and abroad. This means that there are great opportunities for an exciting career after the education. For example, you can work within civil aviation and helicopter companies, the air force, the aviation industry or independent aviation engineering workshops.
The tasks can vary depending on the workplace. You can work with maintenance, supervision, repairs of aircraft, helicopters and aircraft engines, but also with new manufacturing of aircraft and engines. Since our education has a good reputation in the industry, it is not difficult for our students to find interesting jobs. The salary development among aviation engineers is also often very good.
Flight engineer is both a practical and theoretical job, which means that you have to enjoy screwing around while also being able to familiarize yourself with and delve into educational materials and manuals in English. There is a high demand for accuracy because it is ultimately about safety. The job as a flight engineer is both independent and takes place in collaboration with others. Some major employers are SAAB, the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Maritime Administration.
"Students invest both time and money to educate themselves. I want them to feel that it's worth it!"
