This privacy policy describes Nordiskt Flygteknikcentrum AB's (hereinafter NFTC) processing of personal data and applies when someone uses NFTC's services or is in contact with us in any other way.

Responsibility for personal data

NFTC, with corporate registration number 556148–1010, is the data controller for the processing of personal data provided by data providers and is responsible for ensuring that such processing takes place in a lawful manner. 

How NFTC collects personal data

NFTC collects personal data that data subjects provide to us when they use our services. This may be, for example, when you register your interest in our training courses, follow us on social media, etc.

NFTC may also receive personal information from sources other than the data subject. The information may come from other public sources for the purpose of using it for, for example, credit information and address updates.

This data is processed

NFTC processes the personal data that is provided to us. This may include name, email address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth and/or other information that you have provided to us or that is necessary for us to be able to fulfill our obligations to you.

Therefore, NFTC processes personal data

Personal data may be used for the following purposes, among others:

  • To fulfill our commitments to you.
  • To provide good service and well-functioning, efficient and simple services.
  • To handle and administer your questions and comments received via NFTC's website or telephone.
  • For conducting voluntary market research.
  • To carry out credit checks when making credit purchases.
  • To prevent abuse or inappropriate use of our services.

 Recruitment

If you submit documents to NFTC to apply for a position or in the event of a spontaneous application, you agree that we process your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation. The data will be handled by the recruiting manager. You can always withdraw your application and your personal data will be deleted. The personal data will be saved for up to 24 months (2 years) after the application.

NFTC right to process personal data

NFTC has the right to process personal data that is necessary for the fulfillment of an obligation to the data subject or if the data subject has given consent to the processing. NFTC may also need to process personal data due to legal or regulatory requirements.

In some cases, we may need the consent of the data subject to process personal data. When the data subject provides consent in these cases, they will always receive clear and unambiguous information about what they are consenting to.

 

Processing of special categories of personal data

We normally do not process personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership and processing of genetic data, biometric data which uniquely identifies a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.

When you communicate with us, we ask you to omit information that may constitute special categories of personal data as described above. For example, when you apply for an advertised job at NFTC and therefore attach a CV. 

These have access to the personal data

Personal data is used by NFTC and our data processors. We do not disclose personal data to other companies unless we are required to do so by law, regulation or authority decision or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.

We never forward, sell or exchange your personal information for marketing purposes to third parties outside of NFTC.

NFTC is subject to the principle of public access. This means that certain documents constitute so-called public documents that NFTC must disclose upon request. Before disclosure, a confidentiality assessment is carried out in accordance with the Public Access and Secrecy Act.

Transfer to third country

NFTC does not currently transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. If this were to apply, personal data would only be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA if the country concerned has an adequate level of protection according to the EU or the EU Commission, meets the requirements according to the Privacy Shield, or if this was specifically stated in connection with you providing your personal data to us. 

How long is personal data stored?

NFTC stores personal data for as long as is required for our commitments and in accordance with applicable legislation regarding the retention of documents, and is deleted or anonymized thereafter. NFTC screens data on an ongoing basis in its operations.

What rights does the data subject have?

The person providing personal data has the right to request information at any time (free of charge once a year) about what personal data we have saved about the person. The request must be in writing and signed by the person and contain information about the name and social security number. We need this to ensure that we provide the information to the right person. When providing information, presentation of a valid ID document is required.

If the personal data is incomplete, incorrect or irrelevant, the data subject may request that it be corrected. The data subject also has the right to have their personal data deleted. We cannot delete data that is a public document or where there is a statutory requirement to retain it, such as accounting regulations, or where there are other legitimate reasons why the data must be retained, such as unpaid debts.

When personal data processing is based on consent, the data subject may withdraw their consent to us using the data at any time, if this is in accordance with applicable law.

The data provider also has the right, where applicable, to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority for the processing of personal data.

How data is protected

NFTC protects your privacy. We therefore constantly work to take all appropriate technical and organizational measures that are required in each individual case to protect your personal data and otherwise ensure that the processing is carried out in accordance with applicable law.

Cookies

NFTC's website uses small text files, so-called cookies, to facilitate the visitor's navigation on the page. We use cookies to collect statistics about users' visits and to improve the experience. This may, for example, involve saving choices the visitor makes on our website. Cookies on NFTC's website do not constitute personal data within the meaning of the law. If the visitor wishes to deactivate Cookies, this can be done via the browser settings.

In the event that NFTC may in the future use Cookies that can be linked to a natural person and thus constitute personal data within the meaning of the law, NFTC will obtain clear consent at the beginning of the visit to the website, before these Cookies are activated.
