Do you still need to complete some examinations to qualify as a B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer?
We offer the opportunity to complete your EASA Part-66 module examinations — in English!
To work as an aircraft maintenance engineer, you must hold an EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML). This licence gives you the authority to sign the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS), which is required to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
To apply for an AML, you must:
Most EASA examinations consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The number of questions varies depending on the module, and the pass mark is 75%.
After successfully passing a Part-66 module examination, you will receive a Certificate of Recognition (COR), which is valid for 10 years. Once you obtain your AML, it remains valid for life.
Important:
If you have completed any module examinations at another training organisation, we kindly ask you to inform us when and where these were taken, so we can verify them.
